From very early on, much responsibility was placed onto his shoulders, and he soon became the primary guardian for his sister Remy. Much of his formative years were spent working as a guardian for his sister, as well as many of the other younglings growing up in Vozuch ( an End City ). Due to his responsibilities, he became rather good at dealing with children, and to a degree grew to enjoy his job as guardian.

When Regulus reached his 20's, he was almost immediately split off from his previous duties, and began his training as head archivist of Vozuch, set to take over his mother's place once his training had been completed. What followed the next 60 years was a grueling process of constant, non-stop studying and emotional abuse from his mother. Learning how to decipher books, how to document events and people, how to lead and command. How to become perfectly detached from the world, viewing it as an outsider. For a good majority of the time, the was completely separated from the rest of his family, and the only other person he got the fortune of seeing was usually his sister, Remy. Eventually, the constant stress of the training, and emotional abuse from his mother had reached a breaking point. Regulus began to secretly study the sciences of the Overworld until he found out about rare gateways. His only way out.

== Description ==
The Hollowed, or otherwise referred to as Stygian, are creatures born from severe experimentation with Wardens. An ancient civilisation hoped to harvest the power slumbering inside Wardens, using it for nefarious reasons. The civilisation who conducted these experiments is now long gone, only small traces and ruins of it left in the world. Ever since its mysterious collapse, Stygians have retreated back into ancient cities, where they began to live peaceful lives with their Warden brothers. Some have reached the surface world, but those are few and far between.

They are quite diverse in terms of appearance. As a human & Warden hybrid, they posses features of both. They’re largely humanoid in form, but may have horns, skin covered in skulk, exposed bones and flesh. Some may look more monstrous, some may loook more human, all depending on their genetics and bloodline.

The world of AquilaPRJ is a fantasy world leaning into medieval & Victorian style inspirations. Due to the servers past history, staff decided to build Aquila as a successor to its past world, though technically not canonically, and more implied rather than anything. The server has a very rich and long history which becomes a little difficult to describe once you get into the rough details of it all. Originally, the discord server existed for a different minecraft server altogether, but after a big coup where certain staffers abused their status, the primary team leads were overthrown, and the server was effectively purged. The community was left with practically nothing. After more of the situation became public knowledge, majority of the community decided to side with the primary team leads, and the creation of a new server with stricter regulation was suggested and encouraged. On July 3rd 2026 Fushi, Sky, Kiankier, Pixel, Shiutzu and Cosmos announced the creation AquilaPRJ and development began soon after. After spending weeks preparing for the release of the server, it was then officially launched on July 28th, and has been running ever since.

Considering the unfortunate circumstances which led to the servers creation, the founding staff wanted to create AquilaPRJ as a server that previous community members could enjoy, and new players could find a place to thrive in. It was made with the intention to be a love letter for the community the original server had built over the years.

The server has a very rich and long history which becomes a little difficult to describe once you get into the rough details of it all. Originally, the discord server existed for a different minecraft server altogether, but after a big coup where certain staffers abused their status, the primary team leads were overthrown, and the server was effectively purged. The community was left with practically nothing. After more of the situation became public knowledge, majority of the community decided to side with the primary team leads, and the creation of a new server with stricter regulation was suggested and encouraged. On July 3rd 2026 Fushi, Sky, Kiankier, Pixel, Shiutzu and Cosmos announced the creation AquilaPRJ and development began soon after. After spending weeks preparing for the release of the server, it was then officially launched on July 28th, and has been running ever since.

Considering the unfortunate circumstances which led to the servers creation, the founding staff wanted to create AquilaPRJ as a server that previous community members could enjoy, and new players could find a place to thrive in. It was made with the intention to be a love letter for the community the original server had built over the years.

== Description ==
Zombies are a specific variant of [[Undead]] creatures. Zombies are typically not born, but rather created via magical means. Failed resurrection attempts, creatures who die in battle, from old age or sickness which are infected with dark magic before they pass may also transform into zombies. There's little research done to explain how zombies are born, and most people simply assume it may be the work of evil mages and witches. Unlike most creatures, they do not need to eat in order to sustain themselves initially. Overtime, however, zombies begin to develop an apatite for flesh, be it living or dead.

Zombies on their own don't possess a specific culture. It's very likely that whatever they were previously in life, stuck with them after death, which would mean their prior background and culture would still be what influences them the most.

=== Lifespan ===
Zombies are functionally immortal, as they cannot age. They do, however, have very fragile bodies that deteriorate overtime thanks to physical trauma, or simply existing in harsh environments. Zombies can typically live up to about 90 years, but such cases are hard to find. Before a turned creature reaches 20 years of such a state, they are very likely to have already fallen apart due to combat with various hunters.

==== Physical prowess ====
When they are originally turned, they appear relatively living, but they cannot heal like regular humans, instead needing to stitch themselves together. Their bodies tend to fall apart from wear and tear over time, eventually degrading to a point of no return where the person they once were cannot be recognized whatsoever. Their bodies in general tend to be rather frail and easily susceptible to physical trauma as they are actively decaying every day. A big issue which tends to expedite their decay is the lack of a nervous system, which causes zombified creatures to no longer feel physical pain, making them even more prone to physical injury. Zombies grow increasingly weaker in sunlight, and cannot stay in it for prolonged periods of time.

==== Mental prowess ====
Once turned, zombies retain most, if not all of their past life's memories. Though, or rare occasion, that can also be completely forgotten. Typically, their motor functions remain the same, and whatever skills they may have learned in life stay with them even after death. Overtime however, as their physical state begins to decline, their mental state does as well. Memories seem to blur, their motor functions grow worse, their emotional capacity and critical thinking lowers. Eventually, all zombies reach a state where their intelligence declines, and they become near mindless monsters.

Zombies have a larger attunement with dark magic, such as necromancy or spells allowing you to commune with the dead. They are also rather resistant to similar forms of magic. Additionally, any form of healing magic has little to no effect at all on them.

== Description ==
The withered are a specific variant of [[Undead]] creatures. They are similar to skeleton or withered skeleton monsters, it unlike them, they retain some of their consciousness. They cannot be born via reproduction, and are simply created via magical means. The Withered are most often their own independent creatures, but they can also be created when magic is used on a diseased body. They cannot be afflicted with diseases, and have no need for sleeping, eating or drinking. Instead, they sustain themselves by stealing the magical energy of other living creatures.

The Withered do not possess a specific culture, as they tend to be created for serving some sort of innate purpose. Being servants, warriors, protectors of temples, etc. They are likely to instead adapt the culture of their master.

The Withered do not age in the stereotypical sense. Overtime, the magic which was used for their creation begins to weaken and slowly evaporates completely. Because of this, their average lifespan is about 60 to 80 years.

The Withered have rather strong bone structure, making them excellent fighters. Their general capabilities are similar to humans however. Fundamentally, they’re not very different from them.

The Withered are designed to be simple creatures. While they possess the ability to think, feel and strategise, most abandon the idea of independent thought in favour of listening to their master.

They have little special innate magic. The Withered can be thought a variety of spells as long as they have an attentive teacher.

Ilaeni Elves are a specific elf subspecies. They are usually much shorter than you would expect of an elf, their average height being much closer to that of humans. Ilaeni elves tend to have blueish or purplish skintones, varying drastically in over all range. They are rumored to have come from the stars, and as such, they are quite fascinated by them. The simple believed truth, however, is that the Ilaeni actually descended from elves living in underground lush caverns a long time ago. A group made it to the surface during night time, and were enthralled by the stars that shone brightly above. Ever since, they have been watching and studying them.

== Description ==
Homo Arachnids are spiders who, through evolution, grew to mimic the human mind and body. Now they live all over the world of Aquila in their own colonies. Due to their animalistic background, arachnids prefer to live in dense forests and dark caves, such as the taiga, dark forests, swamps, jungles, lush caves, etc. Some species also like to live in warmer environments, settling down in deserts or the badlands.

Beetle Homini are humanoid, bug like creatures. They are native to Syvänne and the area's that surround it. Beetle Hominuni evolved into what they are now thanks to the rather favorable and rich lands of Syvänne, mixed together with their interactions with humans. Their general appearance varies depending on the subspecies, and the same applies to their general physical and mental capabilities.
