			The Vakaser Kobolds do not follow the principle of the separation of powers, quite the opposite in fact. The tribal leadership is trusted entirely to the Vakast, a position of universal authority. There is no code of law to legitimise this power as it is soley based on which Kobold, undead or alive, has the support of those that are best able to cheat, talk and brutalize their surroundings into submission. This group of supporters, known as the Vakasts "Herders", is usually given some slight privileges, like more comfortable housing and being excempt from doing unpopular chores, but are otherwise not treated much different from the less capable or outstanding tribe members. The most significant boon the Vakast gives out is their spiritual protection to the whole tribe. To be worthy of this duty the Vakast must always seem to have the greatest influence with magical beigns - both imagined and real -, have the greatest collection of occult trinkets and charms and have a powerful patron deity. As long as they are the one most capable of performing this perceived service the rest of the tribe, they are repayed in trust, privilege and power.

This blue carpet seems endless.

Before the worried gazes of my citizens, my bare feet tread the sand. I see them. In their eyes. Their emotions. I am not worried for myself. But they are. Handkerchiefs out, some weep, some rejoice in this great day that legitimizes my divinity.

The day of the trip…

I am leaving. And when I return, I will be fully the Queen of Kedet. Or else… or else I will not return.

I lightly touch the papyrus of my boat with my fingertips. Its perfect surface reveals the love the shipwrights poured into its construction. They are all right there, lined up on the beach. In the beating of their hearts, I sense both their apprehension and their devotion.

The silence is deafening as I grasp the oars, seated in my boat. My breath quickens. “They're counting on me. I cannot let them down. Otherwise…”

I turn my head, and I see them. The hundreds - thousands, perhaps - of men and women who are already waiting for my return even though I haven't left the coast.

A cloud passes. A golden ray bathes me in its light. “The Six are with me. This journey cannot fail. I cannot fail. It's impossible.”

It had been a long time since I'd had to exert myself physically. The navigation lessons came back to me as my arms ached from all the rowing. Finally, I understood the value of these skills.

Exhausted, I decide to take a break. It's only after all this time that I realize what's around me.
Beyond the gentle lapping of the still water, I glimpse all sorts of colorful creatures: fish, mollusks, and mammals. Life teems beneath the tangled coral as it blooms on the sands of my beautiful nation. In the distance, I see the coast. Forests, plains, and even immense masses of stone covered with something white. Could this be snow? It is indeed very cold near it.

From these accounts, this great journey, and the experiences gained will emerge the fundamental wisdom for my future position.

Created page with "Today, the village began their expedition. The main goal of it was to locate the bird and examine it. The team of five villagers, equipped with iron armour, immediately reported a faint but foul smell coming from the forest. As they walked towards the source of the smell, they described an abundance of fungi growing on the trees and ground, leaving them baffled. Once the team reached the source of the smell, they found large patches of discoloured grass. They inspected..."

Today, the village began their expedition. The main goal of it was to locate the bird and examine it.

The team of five villagers, equipped with iron armour, immediately reported a faint but foul smell coming from the forest. As they walked towards the source of the smell, they described an abundance of fungi growing on the trees and ground, leaving them baffled.

Once the team reached the source of the smell, they found large patches of discoloured grass. They inspected the grass for a while before beginning their journey home.

One man reported seeing an eye on a mushroom, although the group suspects it may have been caused by the discomfort from the smell.

=== Childhood ===
Astesh emerged from their birth-cave 27 years ago with 2 siblings. Throughout their childhood they were known as a troubled child. One particular incident was when a travelling merchant visited the community and Astesh went missing for 2 days. They were found on the trail of the merchant, having followed them and gotten lost. Astesh frequently listened to the elders in the community speak about their journeys. When they turned 19, they embarked on their Trifta, their journey of self-discovery.

=== Early Life ===
During their Trifta, Astesh came across a strange structure, and become devoted to the stars, joining the Sule Starhood as a druid. Soon after this time they adopted (Insert Rain's character here).

=== Life In Aquila ===
Astesh has remained a devoted member of the Starhood, and has focused on understanding the stars and their influence in Aquila.
