	The waves of the sea rock gently beneath my ship. How long has it been since I last saw land? Days? Weeks? Months? I can't seem to keep track of time out here. The sea doesn’t keep count, and neither do I. It’s just me, alone, on this boat, and there’s nothing more I could ask for. Life has always been cruel to me. 	Looking out over the horizon, all I see is water and sky. And yet, somehow, what I feel is hope. Hope that maybe, just maybe, I could steer my own future. Not stuck with the wretched fate I have back home. To go on adventures, and to collect the many treasures of this world. Were these foolish dreams? Maybe. Will I perish on the sea? Possibly. But that will not stop me in my search of purpose in life.		Looking out over the horizon, all I see is water and sky. And yet, somehow, what I feel is hope. Hope that maybe, just maybe, I could steer my own future. Not stuck with the wretched fate I have back home. To go on adventures, and to collect the many treasures of this world.
