Ilaeni Elves are a specific elf subspecies. They are usually much shorter than you would expect of an elf, their average height being much closer to that of humans. Ilaeni elves tend to have blueish or purplish skintones, varying drastically in over all range. They are rumored to have come from the stars, and as such, they are quite fascinated by them. The simple believed truth, however, is that the Ilaeni actually descended from elves living in underground lush caverns a long time ago. A group made it to the surface during night time, and were enthralled by the stars that shone brightly above. Ever since, they have been watching and studying them.

There are little to no difference between an Ilaeni's wit and a humans. They are innately gifted with understanding the stars and studies revolving astrology, and usually most other scientific fields.
