It had been a few days since the conflict with Serrano, Istrania, and Coronado had finally come to an end.

For the first time in what felt like weeks, my office was quiet. I sat behind my desk, sorting through reports, diplomatic correspondence, railway documents, and other matters that had accumulated while my attention had been elsewhere.

Even while working, my thoughts continued to return to the conflict.

There was still much to review. Statements had to be answered, reports had to be organized, and the consequences of the recent events would likely be felt for some time.

A knock at the door interrupted my thoughts.

"Come in."

An envoy entered the room and approached my desk. Without saying much, they placed a sealed letter in front of me.

"Thank you."

They gave a brief nod before leaving.

I looked down at the letter.

The seal immediately caught my attention. I examined it for a moment before carefully opening it.

The letter was from '''Alexandra Kovalska and Józef Kataczyk of Gloracja'''.

They were requesting a meeting with me in the coming days regarding several diplomatic matters.

I read the letter twice.

There were several possibilities as to what they wished to discuss. Perhaps the railway. Perhaps trade. Perhaps something concerning the recent conflict, or simply another matter between our nations.

Whatever the reason, the timing was interesting.

Only a few days had passed since the fighting ended, and now Gloracja wished to speak with me directly.

I placed the letter on the desk and leaned back in my chair.

For a moment, I considered whether there was anything I had overlooked.

I could speculate all I wanted, but until the meeting itself, there was no way to know what they intended to discuss.

Eventually, I returned my attention to the papers in front of me.

The letter remained beside them.

I would have to decide soon whether to accept the invitation.

For now, however, I had other matters to attend to.
