			In order to prevent the natural decay process of an [[Icari]] who does not assist, Seras has dedicated months of his time to uncovering the history of the Icari, hoping to archive what remains of their existence and help the ones who he finds across the world. In addition, he heals members of the [[Vakaser Herders]] by reversing their zombification slightly with his magical ability known as the glow.

			As an Icari, Seras has a natural failsafe within his body which triggers whenever he finds himself in danger of being harmed by the undead. When he closes his eyes in a situation where, for example, a zombie is attacking him, his entire body will faintly glow, scorching any undead flesh off of whatever is near. Although this ability is intended for defense, he often uses it to heal friendly undead creatures to prevent the rot from making them go completely feral.
