Harakhas received the news that armed bandits had attacked Orutogams.
"Were they" Kasholo?
They were not.
He hurried with his band towards **Orutogams**. When he arrived in the evening, the bandits had already been thrown back into the **Gaunasub**. Many had died during the battle despite the settlement remaining largely untouched.
- Orutogams** was among the first settlements by the **Kuri//aes** in the **Gaunasub** before they arrived in **Hais!uti** in the final years of the migration. It still serves as an important transit point between the other settlements and remains notable with its deep oasis and colorful sheep.
However, it had been impoverished compared to other places like **Hais!am**.
The fact that the inhabitants of **Orutogams** are still stubborn enough to solely use copper for their tools, weapons and armor does not help their slow decline. Unlike **Orutogams**, other communities have already adapted and have been using better materials for the essentials while copper remains important for jewelry, ornaments and rituals.
The Kaptein remained there for several days before returning to **Hais!am**...
