Fancier Infoboxes

Fancier Infoboxes are expanded versions of the standard infoboxes used throughout the Project Aquila Wiki. They are designed to provide a more detailed overview of a nation, character, religion, organisation, settlement, company, event or geographic feature without requiring readers to search through the entire article for basic information.

Fancier Infoboxes retain the information found in the original infoboxes while adding additional fields that may be useful for documenting the wider world of Aquila.

Not every field is required to be used. Fields that are unknown, not yet established in lore, or irrelevant to the subject may be left as TBA or removed from the infobox entirely. The purpose of the Fancier Infoboxes is to provide useful information at a glance, rather than to document every detail about a subject.

Using Fancier Infoboxes

Fancier Infoboxes are written using MediaWiki table syntax. The templates provided on this page can be copied directly into the wiki's source editor and then customised for the relevant subject.

When creating a new infobox, replace the placeholder information such as Nation Name, Character Name and TBA with the appropriate information.

I encourage you to remove fields that are not relevant to your infobox! I also encourage you to add additional fields where necessary, provided they are relevant to the subject and fit the general style of the Fancier Infoboxes.

Click Edit Source ( dont actually edit anything lol )

Scroll down to see what Infobox you want. Highlight everything. It begins with {| and ends with |}

Then go to the page you want to create, click edit source again and paste it in! Boom, you got the infobox
