Twelve bandits surround him.

The Vanguard is scattered across the territory, our forces being committed to defending Kheta-Kedet. No reinforcements are coming.

Sekhem stands alone.

This situation is... inadequate to put into words.

The Vanguard is spread thin. They have been efficient in protecting Kheta-Kedet, but this is not their battle to fight.

I have no allies left to call upon.

Therefore... I must defeat all twelve of them alone.

So he did. Sekhem fought for hours, the sands shifting below him and illuminated by both sunlight and moonlight. He endured through wounds that would cripple any other.

Even Sekhem had his limits.

Enemies were too abundant, his tools failed before he did.

The final twelve closed in.

Sekhem tightened his grip around his sword.

His knees buckled.

If I die here, I will take all of them with me.

Thoth did not allow that. His champion would not fall today.

The heavens erupted in a colossal surge of golden white light which punched through the sky falling directly onto Sekhem.

The impact sent a sandstorm engulfing Sekhem and throwing the bandits back.

Sekhem opened his eyes, his sword was gone.

In its place rested an unfamiliar weapon-

The Hammer

Enchanted with the power of Thoth, divine energy surged through the hammer onto Sekhems body.

The longer he swung it, the lighter it became.

The faster his momentum grew, the heavier the hammer seemed to become for anything unfortunate enough to stand before it.

Sekhem raised his head.

I can feel it

I will win

Thank you Thoth. This is all that I need.

The markings of the hammer ignited when Sekhem rushed forward.

And now...

The first bandit had no time to react. This battle was no longer fair.

I will kill all of you
