Icari are a form of Undead creatures. They are shaped through magic when a young child dies, and are then reborn in their old body, but this time, with light grey wings. They now inhabit this new body until they come to terms with their previous life, and gather the courage to move forward regardless of their circumstances. They can come from anywhere, as long as a child dies too young. All that they remember about their old lives is a dream about how they died right before they are reborn. All creatures have a chance of becoming an Icari, as long as the child's soul is strong enough to be offered a chance of redemption.

Description Icari are a form of Undead creatures. They are shaped through magic when a young child dies, and are then reborn in their old body, but this time, with light grey wings. They now inhabit this new body until they come to terms with their previous life, and gather the courage to move forward regardless of their circumstances. They can come from anywhere, as long as a child dies too young. All that they remember about their old lives is a dream about how they died right before they are reborn. All creatures have a chance of becoming an Icari, as long as the child's soul is strong enough to be offered a chance of redemption. Each Icari has a job to complete that they choose for themselves, whether that be masonry, medicine, artistry, etc, and as long as they maintain their profession, assisting those around them, they can avoiding the rapid blackening process. If they choose not too, this will immediately trigger the darkening of their wings. If an Icari is successful in coming to peace with themselves and reach fulfillment, their wings will bloom, allowing the Icari to finally pass in peace, with their soul still intact. Icari were meant to be reborn in a small section of the sky above us, in a land that we have no true name for. Our world is too dangerous for Icari to thrive, and thousands have been killed due to being left here. Whatever caused them to be reborn back here has been extremely detrimental to Icari as a whole.

Lifespan An Icari's life begins at the same age that they had died, and they can live for about another 80 or so years. Over time, an Icari's wings may turn black, staining like ink on paper. This process happens if they fail to correct or learn from their past mistakes, and continue to compromise their morals. Such actions begin a rapid process of decay, which eventually overtakes their entire body. Once an Icari's wings have fully become blackened, the creature disappears from the world forever, making another resurrection of them completely impossible. Abilities Physical prowess An Icari's physical strength is no different than a human's. Mental prowess An Icari is capable of sensing the intentions of any creature around them, a natural fail-safe in their brains that can save them from those who wish to deceive them. Magical prowess While they are capable of magic, the Icari have no natural affinity for magical arts. For the most part, Icari don’t have powers that can be found in any other being. They have “the glow”, which is ambient light emitted from themselves when they are in danger, which wards off undead creatures with bad intentions.
