The withered are a specific variant of [[Undead]] creatures. They are similar to skeleton or withered skeleton monsters, it unlike them, they retain some of their consciousness. They cannot be born via reproduction, and are simply created via magical means. The Withered are most often their own independent creatures, but they can also be created when magic is used on a diseased body. The Withered are conscious skeletal Undead created through magical means, sustaining themselves by draining the magical energy of living creatures while typically serving masters or protectors.

They cannot be born via reproduction, and are simply created via magical means.
