Friedrich Ludwig von Prunksaal-Glanzberg, also known as Frederick Louis is a noble, originally from Steltanholt, now the count of Prunksaal. Born in early July of 48 EV into one of the more important Steltanholter families. He is the founder of the town of Prunksaal and resides above in a castle on the Kirschberg, which he renamed to be Glanzberg. A great patron of the arts, he aspires to create the most opulent city of the world.

Life and history

Early Life

Born in the year 48 of era vetus, he is the seventh child and eldest surviving son of Georg Philip von Kirschberg (born Schmarrner) and Marianne Gugelhupfer. In his youth he was often complimented for his pale skin, blue eyes and hair that he kept naturally long, he was also always keen on fashion. Nonetheless he was often ridiculed for his short stature and chubbiness.

His father was a very important man in Steltanholt and became exceedingly wealthy after establishing the Steltanholter mines, with this great wealth and power he was granted the opportunity by the state to explore, settle and delve deeper into the continent. Friedrich Ludwig, then already an adult, joined his father and was the first to climb the Kirschberg, where his father wished to create a castle. His father now took up the name von Kirschberg and so did his children including Friedrich Ludwig.

Rise to prominence

Not long after his father's death, Friedrich Ludwig was approved as his father's successor and named Warden of the Kirschberg. Friedrich Ludwig was unsatisfied with the lack of building work and that up until that point the area remained largely undeveloped. He wished to be the most opulent man on the continent and so renamed the Kirschberg to the Glanzberg where he is building a castle. Furthermore he planted many trees for building materials and created great fields and had local sheep and cattle domesticated. At the same time, to show off his wealth Friedrich Ludwig started dressing in the most fashionable of clothes, silk stockings, breeches, embroided waistcoats, large frock coats, a fine cravat and to cover his thinning and greying hair - an opulent wig. This was not enough however and so Friedrich Ludwig declared himself, without any knowledge of the State of Steltanholt, to be Count of Prunksaal, a city which he wishes to make the most beautiful.
