Biography & History

Early Life

Eko grew up in a large colony of her kind, a people known for their fierce and violent nature. Eventually, a small faction broke away from the colony, becoming conquerors and savages. For many years, they conquered one colony after another, claiming neighboring territories and ruling over them through fear and force.

One day, while Eko and the other savages were preparing for their winter sleep, they were attacked by a legion of ghouls. One by one, the ghouls slaughtered Eko's people until she was the only one left alive.

Eko fled the place where her people had died, carrying the memory of each of them with her.

Something changed inside Eko after that day. Violence, which had once simply been a part of her people's nature, became something deeply personal. She became one of the cruelest and most mischievous creatures in the territory, learning to use fear, manipulation, and violence to dominate the creatures around her.

Eko will do whatever it takes to gain the upper hand. She lies without hesitation, deceives those around her, and knows exactly how to manipulate others into doing what she wants. She rarely fights fair if she can find another way to win. To Eko, trust is a weakness and mercy is a luxury. She carefully studies those around her, looking for their fears, weaknesses, and desires so she can use them to her advantage. Whether through fear, manipulation, deception, or violence, Eko always looks for a way to make sure she is the one in control.

Yet beneath all that cruelty, Eko never forgot the grief of losing her people. She refused to let their deaths become meaningless, and she would not allow herself to forget a single one of them.

Their memory remained with her, not as something that softened her, but as something that hardened her.

Eko is cruel, cunning, and vicious, but rarely without a purpose. She enjoys having power over others and delights in making them feel helpless or terrified under her control. She is very clever and often wears her vices and cruelties as masks, using charm and friendliness to get what she wants. Eko prefers to use people's fears against them and have them destroy themselves rather than waste her time and effort on fighting them directly.

She is also very calculating and rarely does anything without first watching and observing the people around her. She knows people's habits, their likes and dislikes, what they fear, what they want, and what they are willing to do to achieve their goals. She is very good at lying and has no qualms about doing so, and she thinks of trust as something that should be earned and exploited. Eko believes that everyone has a price, and she is willing to pay that price to have them at her command or to use them as leverage.

Eko is fiercely competitive and is never happy about losing or being in a position of inferiority against others. She has a vicious streak and can be very cruel to people who have crossed her, but she always saves her worst punishments for those who have beaten or bested her in some way. When faced with a losing position, Eko will always try to turn the situation around or retreat and regroup rather than accept defeat.
