Pinark of Amerue had it written thus:
To the Harakhas Gomas,
"Although your cattle drinks at the waters our cattle has known for generations and although your people are not part of the family tribe, we have always allowed the Kuri//aes a great freedom, unlike that of any other subject humans. This was done out of respect for your father, the Kaiga Gomas, and the trust in your Clan to herd your people on your own. We even kindly looked past the evil rumors you spread about us and your consistent boasting about being superior copper workers.
Still, however, you taunt us, not once, but two whole times! This morning the feral children of Hais!am raided Amerue again, throwing eggs at the roofs, the workers and the Herders for the second time this month! Some of them additionally slung insults you should be ashamed to know on your offsprings tongues.
We might be the ones currently walking on the shells that litter our streets, but I warn your young to caution because this blatant threat against our Unhatched will not be tolerated again.
Anticipating your will to make up for this grave insult, we have already taken the recently delivered batch of copper tools as an offering of appeasement and will therefore not be sending the initially agreed upon heads of cattle in return."
The Vakast noted further that he will not insist on a personal apology if a second shipment is made within the next week.
