Ekru grew up in Adun as his father Kax's heir to the house of Ocretti, he was raised on the myth of the Fogah Ocrayetti and was taught it by his farther and learnt about the two centuries of peaceful trade with the humans nearby. Unlike his father Ekru had little patience for court life he had spent most of his young adulthood away from the capital traveling between Adun's outlying farming settlements helping settle land disputes and irrigation quarrels the court considered beneath its attention. He found out he preferred it that way he was more at ease among farmers arguing over a boundary marker than among nobles arguing over trade tariffs and came to know the Meadows outer settlements better than most kobolds who'd actually been born in them and it made him well liked among the tribes he visited and something of an afterthought at his own father's court. | |||
