Description

Kobols are short humanoid reptilians. They have scaled skin, a snout filled with tiny razor sharp teeth, and a very long tail. The Aquatic Kobolds are a variant of Kobolds who posses amphibian like features, such as broader tails, webbed feet and hands to aid them in underwater exploration. Aquatic Kobolds typically like very humid areas filled with plenty of water, so many settle in costal towns and fishing villages.

Culture

Aquatic kobolds are the most friendly and kind out of all the Kobold variants. They love the company of others and are always the more compassionate towards outsiders. They tend to be quite loud, and impulsive, similarly to WIngmen. They also share the same common tongue, and can often times be found shouting and singing together. As a more lively species, Aquatic Kobolds have developed much brighter scales, ranging from deep blues, greens and reds.

Lifespan

Aquatic Kobolds live for about 100 to 120 years.

Abilities

Physical prowess

Having evolved to posses amphibian like features, Aquatic Kobolds make for excellent swimmers and hunters under water. While they cannot sustain fully living under water, they have evolved in a way that allows them to stay under hours for multiple hours at a time without needing to come up for air. Many have developed the ability to search for smaller underwater air pockets, meaning they can effectively sustain themselves underwater.

Aquatic Kobold's cognition does not differ much from the average Kobold.

Magical prowess

While they are capable of magic, kobolds have no natural affinity for magical arts.
