Mari Vaurent is the Queen of the Hive of Syvänne, and the de-facto leader of Beetle Homini across Aquila. She lives in the noble section of the Hive of Syvänne, though often visits the lower layers and other nearby Hives, usually either for religious tasks or bureaucratic work. By sub-species, she is officially a pure Ladybug, however rumors state she may also be of less noble origin. Due to health complications early on in her life, she often wears a red cape to compensate for her lack of a red shell, which is often the signifier of pure ladybugs.
Physical Attributes
Mari Vaurent often wears fairly standard clothing for a Beetle (-Weevil), a blue office uniform (sometimes changed up with a military officer uniform, which is more standard for military-oriented nobility), which functions quite well throughout the Hive. When going outside, she often wears extra protection, a chainmail set, as well as hefty winter clothing during Winter, early Spring or late Autumn, like many other Beetle.
She has two white-ish spots on her face, that continue down slightly to her neck, as well as slightly shorter-than-usual antennae.
