History

Childhood

Kaelurun grew up and was born in a small tribe in Central Grusaak, during this time he had struggled, his mother Kaelo Voltkr had passed away shortly after hatching from his egg along side a absent father who devoted his life to his purpose as a diplomat between kobold tribes Kaelurun had to teach himself everything growing up, Kaelurun was not a normal kobold though, he had a rare genetic mutation where his skin was golden, a very rare skin issue only seen in a through kobold throughout history, this led kaelurun to start off his education being constantly ridiculed but gained respect in his youth after kicking the ass of 2 older kobolds for insulting him and slowly started gaining focus as he helped his tribe in many different ways, during hunts and eventually even becoming a hollowed through this gaining focus,

Early life

As Kaelurun reached adulthood he had already had a reputation as one of the most influential people within his tribe but shortly after The Great Slaughter had happened (when he was 16), where multiple unknown humanoid individuals had raided the majority of kobold clans and murdered, stolen and kidnapped many belongings and kobolds making it one of the most horrible events in the history of kobold existance. Kaelurun during this had made himself one the most influential figure in the formation of grusaak, having led multiple efforts across multiple tribes in rebuilding and had been one of the main diplomats and main leaders of the unification of all kobold tribes Kaelurun didn't remember deciding to leave the trail. one moment he was counting the miles left to the next tribe he needed to talk into not slaughtering the last one and the next his boots had wandered him off the packed dirt path and into something soft and tilled sugar he was standing in someones sugar. He had been walking for two days on maybe four hours of sleep running the same argument through his head on a loop the one where he convinced a warlord twice his age that burying old grudges mattered more than avenging them and he genuinely hadn't noticed the farm until he was standing in the middle of it this is where he met his greatest friend Zak Atszu Kaelurun, who'd spent his whole life either being underestimated for his skin or overloaded with everyone else's expectations and found something disarming in a kobold who didn't want anything from him not loyalty, not an alliance, not even his name at first he decided to stay the night. Then whenever his journeys looped back that direction he started making a point to stay again. Zak never asked about the meetings Kaelurun disappeared to or the weight he visibly carried more of each time he passed through he just fed him, let him sit in the dirt in silence if that's what he needed and occasionally told him his sugar cane were growing crooked on purpose so nobody would suspect they were worth stealing.as Kaelurun rose through the Slaughter's aftermath through the unification into the title itself Zak stayed the one place he could show up unannounced muddy and unimportant and just be a tired kobold eating vegetables on a stool. after this Kaelurun had pretty much already made himself the leader and after zero resitance in him becoming leader he became leader and united the tribes under his banner and became the first ever hand of Driisar

Personality & Traits

Rose from nothing to unite the shattered kobold tribes, earning trust through action rather than bloodline or force leads by example rather than decree first to lift a brick, first to throw a spear and remains deeply humble despite his status among the tribes. Patient and fair in disputes, he carries the trauma of the Great Slaughter and the weight of leadership largely alone, rarely allowing himself real rest. Genuinely curious about outsiders and open to the wider world a trait that hasn't dimmed despite everything his people have suffered. A kind and genuine man with wisdom you'd rarely seen in a man his age.

Appearance & Attire

Gold but not as gold as he used to be its dimmed down ever since he was younger, years of exhaustion and stress has dimmed his colour but it still stands out in any room he stands in, he dosen't wear anything special and he never will just wearing whatever clothes he can find something you'd see a low class worker wearing not a leader and he carries the visible wear of the role old scarring along one forearm from the Great Slaughter calloused hands from working construction and farmland alongside his people and a tiredness around the eyes that no amount of composure fully hides up close even if it rarely shows from a distance. Those who expect a head of state to look the part are often surprised to find him indistinguishable at a glance, from any other kobold laborer in camp which is exactly how he prefers it.
