History

Formation

Founded by ambitious traders and their subjects looking for rich and Virgin land to acquire its resources and to become a central trading hub. It has taken a year to build up a singular settlement, fittingly named "The first Glorian Settlement". Afterwards, the first fortress, Fort lotus was quickly designed and built.

Temporary Government

The Nation of Gloracja was a Timocracy with a heavy focus on patriotism and classical values, for example, ownership of private land, patriotism and the idea of a free, slightly unregulated market. It is located on the south wetern continent that we called Glortica. (Sundara). It’s (in rp) population was around 90 000 citizens. Its first government was heavily unorganized, simply lead by a woman known as Alexandra Kovalska. Afterwards, its constitution was finally released.

Article I

Selecting a Grand Leader

1. A leader shall be selected to uphold the state once every six (6) years
2. The leader shall be selected by a gathering of the 150 richest Glorians and landowners.
3. The leader must be a member of the gathering of the 150 richest Glorians and landowners.
4. The leader must not threaten the safety of any members of such a gathering.

Article II

Obligations of a Grand Leader

1. The leader shall develop the state's economy and economic infrastructure
2. The leader shall develop the safety of the state via expanding its militaristic force
3. The leader shall uphold any agreements held with other parties
4. The leader shall promote a designated high advisor of the state
5. The Grand Leader must assign an army general, dedicated to assisting in clause II.2., an economic leader, dedicated to assisting with clause II.1., and a leader of foreign affairs, dedicated to assisting with clause II.3.

Article III

Benefits of a Grand Leader

1. The Grand Leader may override, or otherwise veto, any decisions made by secondary leaders or the army general.
2. The Grand Leader may decide to veto any amendment made to this document if they so wish
3. The Grand Leader may issue direct, undeniable orders to the general of the army.
4. If the secondary leaders or generals are deemed unworthy of their role, they may be replaced by the Grand Leader.

Article IV

Economy

1. Privately owned businesses are expected to cooperate and direct their profits towards the state.
2. The government may intervene and terminate any and all privately owned businesses with no previous notice
3. Medical assistance is not to ever be funded fully by the state
4. The state and grand leader must cooperate with other nations to improve the state's economy
5. 150 of the richest Glorians may reinvest up to 50% of their profits in order to remain at the gathering.

Article V

Ammendments

1. Amendments to the constitution may be proposed by the gathering of the 150 richest Glorians to be reviewed by the Grand Leader.

Article VI

Jurisdiction

1. The Grand Leader has absolute power over anyone found guilty and has the right to execute such an individual or imprison them for life if necessary.
2. Smaller cases are handled by the Grand Glorian Justice Centre

The First Glorian Settlement, Its a small mining town centered around a quarry. It currently serves as the only town in the nation based around housing.

FORT LOTUS

large fortress, current base of operations for Gloracja. It is heavily fortified and quite simplistic in decoration. It serves both a ceremonial, symbolic function as well as being a defensive bulwark. It is located around the center of Gloracja between its plains and Savannas. Its construction was assisted by The Guild. [1]

Culture

As a nation formed from settlers, most of the nation is made up of hard working, patriotic individuals lead by a small group of highly educated intelligence members and the richest few. The main attributes of most Glorians are the passion for well being of the community, previously attempted through disorganized, free market strategy, personal liberties, freedom of speech and the previously mentioned high effort of the average citizen. Now, through a heavily militarized and protected state with heavy focus on the well being of the nation, and not the individual. Glorians are known to be very judging of people below them, but very helpful in times of need. The religious views of Gloracja are incredibly diverse as there is not a single one religion forced upon its citizens. This creates a differentiating system of personal values from person to person, although the general ideas of personal charity among the working class remain the same. Most of the intelligence members are a highly prestigious group with a large gap between them and the manual labourers. They usually view themselves as higher up in importance, with INITIALLY no pushback from the community. Although lately, multiple strikes have broken out.
