For months, this project existed only in messy journal sketches, late-night autopsies, and chaotic tests in the Grand Warehouse. But seeing her out here in the open air, tethered directly to the new wooden gantries at the bay station, makes all the sleepless nights worth it.

We completed the main bay facilities along the cliff edge early this morning. The stone staircases now link the upper administrative district straight down to the sea wall, and the heavy wooden landing platform extends right out over the water.

She sits suspended cleanly in the air, held fast by heavy mooring chains and copper struts. The gas matrix holds perfectly steady against the sea breeze coming off the bay, and the copper flight controls respond smoothly at the helm. From the platform, you can look right past her wooden hull toward the snow-capped peaks in the distance.

We’re no longer bound to the ground or restricted to iron rails. The bay facility is fully operational, the prototype is moored, and Koperdam has officially taken to the sky.
