A stack of note pages are scattered on the rug of the tent floor. Torraence searched for a fresh paper to drop notes on and eventually found one.

"YES! okay okay okay."

It says before beginning to write.

The page is filled with injury counts first. They had been shot a few times by arrows of unknown origin, broke a couple ribs and their shin all during an adventure in a cave gone wrong. They sketched a couple glow berries with an arrow pointing towards it saying "Found this. It makes my tongue glow" before their notes continued.'

• I had set up my tent. It's small but comfortable and tucked out of the way from the village.

• There's mines under my home which was what i had explored. Someone else had explored there not long ago and I wonder who.

• A villager is teaching me to write better. Spoul? Speel? Spel? correctly and such. I like it. I even know how to write my name now thanks to the villager.

• Found a flower I like. I put it in a vase for safe keeping.

• A poorly drawn doodle of a Lily of the Valley, I think my clan made something from this once but never taught me... I wonder why though.

• Oh that reminds me! Another villager is teaching me how to draw! I'm not very good at it yet but I hope it all improves so I can start doodling my finds a bit better.
