but my parents always told me survival wasn't just living. No... not truly. I want something more.

Looking out over the horizon, all I see is water and sky. And yet, somehow, what I feel is hope. Hope that maybe, just maybe, I could steer my own future. Not stuck with the wretched fate I have back home. To go on adventures, and to collect the many treasures of this world. Were these foolish dreams? Maybe. Will I perish on the sea? Possibly. But that will not stop me in my search of purpose in life.
