Not much is known of Rigby's early life. Through his own testimony he comes from a renowned and affluent lineage of blacksmiths, of which neither house name nor location has been determined. Sometime a few years ago he was decidedly discontent with mastering smithing and left to explore the world and incorporate his findings into his craft.
