Kaptein Harakhas Gomas travelled to Dorurams, a minor coastal village situated north of the Khurudundu plateau, between the distinctive terracotta pillars of Khorub.
Many of the village's houses have been built directly into the terracotta pillars, giving Dorurams a distinctive appearance. The settlement is home to many talented smiths and webbers, the latter using spider string to produce clothing. Minor gold mining activities are also carried out in the surrounding area.
The village also surrounds an unusual obsidian portal accompanied by a red rock that burns eternally. The purpose and origins of the portal remain unknown.
The Kaptein had come to Dorurams to consult miners from Serri//aes (Serrano), who had travelled to the village. The gold mining methods used by the Kuri//aes had proven to be rather lacking, and Harakhas believed that experienced miners from Serri//aes could teach his people more refined techniques.
After reaching an agreement on fair payment, the miners and the Kuri//aes got to work...
