A Proposal of Wealth and Rail
The Letter:
I am Valdemar Hvide, Regent of the eternal kingdom of Istrania and steward of the Godking, writing from a land to the south of Serrano.
In recent months, I have heard a lot concerning your work with railways in the lands of Serrano, how you have connected those lands and the wealth you have gathered so far, which are an achievement worthy of notice Istrania is a land blessed by hardworking people, plenty of resources and fertile farmland, yet those blessings have been limited to the isles of Istramark and thereby denied the outside the chance to enjoy some of them.
This is something I intend to change, and I offer the Goldman company the chance to be part of this endeavour, to allow you the chance for ever more wealth and prosperity, to reach new markets and new customers far from the desert lands of Serrano.
I proposed the creation of a joint railway connecting the existing network of the Goldman Company with Kingsport, the capital of Istrania, giving you a direct trade route to the many goods from the isles of istramark.
The Kingdom is prepared to provide the necessary materials and labour required for this undertaking. In return, we ask that the Goldman Company provide the technical knowledge, and skill necessary for such a task The following document contains my proposed terms for such an arrangement. I present them not as demands, but a framework that can serve as a base for a deal that will satisfy both of us.

Draft Arrangement Of A Joint Railway
Between the Kingdom of Istrania and the Goldman Company
The Kingdom of Istrania, represented by Valdemar Hvide, Regent of the eternal kingdom of Istrania
and
The Goldman Company, represented by its leader, Illias Goldman
Hereby agree to the following terms for the establishment, construction and operation of a joint railway:
Article 1: Establishment of the Joint Northern Railway
1.1: The Parties agree to establish a joint-railway company to build and run a railway connect the Kingdom of Istrania with Goldman Company’s existing rail network
1.2: The ownership of the joint railway shall be split equally between the Goldman Company and Istrania alongside the profit made by it.
1.3: Neither Party shall transfer, sell, pledge or otherwise dispose of its share in the Joint Northern Railway without the prior warning
1.4: The joint company shall be formally designated the Joint Northern Railway
1.5: Neither parties can unilaterally dissolve the Joint Northern Railway
Article 2: Codifying the rules and operation
2.1: No major decision concerning the Railway can be executed without unilateral agreement between both parties. This Includes alteration, reconstruction, relocation or demolition
2.2: Any future or existing railway constructed by either Party beyond the agreed route of the Joint Northern Railway shall remain as separate entities
2.3: The parties agree to the establish of a technology sharing agreement concerning railways and adjacent Fields
2.4: Any possible future extensions to the Joint Northern Railway shall require the mutual consent of both Parties
