Childhood

Grey Spade’s earliest documented years are in the same heavy mists that define the Shae race. He was raised among a traveling group of silent shadow illusionists, communicating only through fleeting projections of dark magic. His life changed permanently the day his troupe vanished into thin air, leaving behind nothing but a blank iron theater mask and a single playing card: the grey spade. When he pulled the mask over his head, it fused to his form, concealing a terrifying reality under the mask, he had no face at all, just a smooth, featureless void of shifting smoke.

Early life

Grey Spade spent all of his documented early life preforming on stage for others. He would create illusions and trick people who watched. Grey Spade was extremely curious and mischievous, sometimes preforming trickery to people he finds out in the open. Grey Spade eventually grew popular among the many empires and civilizations, sometimes being asked to preform in front of kings and other wealthy people. Grey Spade spent his spare time when not preforming practicing combat with his abilities.

Life in Aquila

Currently, Grey Spade lives with humans in The Republic of Calaveria. They met after coming together to repair the Skeleton Empire. Grey Spade still preforms as a jester around the world and still practices his magic and combat while finding little time to help out his newly found nation. Grey Spade still is extremely mischievous, but still choses to get along with people despite pranking them.
