We, the servants of the Godkings and stewards of his holy realm, Istrania, have heard the declaration and call for aid coming from the eastern sea.
The East shall not be left defenseless, nor shall we let one of the lost tribes, Elliri, become extinct. By the decree of the regent, supply ships shall sail with all haste, carrying materials and Huscarls to bolster the Vanguard.
Istrania will welcome the Vanguard into the embrace of the Godking and accepts the offer of fealty to the Godking and his Regent from Master Mercellus Veritas.
Let this be the beginning of a lasting bond between the Vanguard and Istrania, one to make the eastern sea safe. We therefore extend an invitation to Master Mercellus Veritrix to meet at Kingsport and settle the final details between Istrania and Vanguard, so Vanguard can be formalised as a march of Istrania and the will of the Godking.
