To Her Majesty the Queen of Khediaes, Kheta-Semet!
Yesterday I received Your letter inviting us to the Desert Council at your residence. I accept Your invitation and will either attend myself or send a headman in my place.
However, from this letter, I perceive the necessity to report a few matters to Your Majesty.
Firstly, the Khasholo, whom you refer to as Vakaser Herders, are not Your friends. They are heinous, not to be trusted and have robbed us.
For instance, when we were wandering many years ago, looking for a new home, they, being masters of ambushes, assaulted us without warning! We have to defend ourselves to this day.
Peace with them is always fragile and temporary!
Therefore, I ask You to reconsider their position in an alliance. Because such an alliance would not last.
Secondly, You mentioned the portal and its potential dangers already when we met for the first time. However, You gave no further explanation or details, which puzzled me deeply. We have not perceived any threats from this structure, so You must provide us an explanation at the Council!
And lastly, we may have to discuss a universal name of the desert on not just one occasion. You see: We are several peoples with several languages and degrees of entitlement, which may make it difficult to choose one already existing name over the others.
I hope You take my words into consideration for when we meet again at the Council.
