Marquis Deiderik van d'Montvorijs was raised seeing his greaters in constant struggle to keep the nation safe and sacrificing to lend aid to far away nations. He did not know it was the unspoken tradition of House van d'Montvorijs to use these foreign aid missions to loot and pillage, and thus saw only his house giving toward a future no others would work to maintain while the other Bloemendaal nobles lived in luxury. Marquis Deiderik van d'Montvorijs is educated in small scale war and basic logistics, other than this he considers himself an expert on matters governance, language, arts, warfare, dueling, science, religion and philosophy.
At 15 years of age his father died in a minor peasant skirmish, state owned troops cowering and routing, leaving the majority of the Koninklijke Landmacht van de Unie der Vestingstad Bloemendaal en Vrije Dorpen Zonnenberg en Honingsdam aan Koningsdiep to be flanked and slaughtered, his father among them. Personality
Marquis Deiderik van d'Montvorijs thinks of himself as divine and wishes to gorge and live in opulent splendor in paradise on earth. He is overconfident and egotistical believing all things to be his divine right and is extremely unforgiving toward any who contradict this belief. Though he carries himself with the eloquence of a refined noble, often the contents of his speeches and decrees are blunt and simple things wrapped in a shroud of nobility and refinement.
Appearance
Marquis Deiderik van d'Montvorijs wears nothing but the finest clothes and demands nothing short of perfectly carved jewels or masterfully engraved metalwork. He currently retains a strong build fit for the heir of the long line of warriors who came before him. He bares dark rings beneath his eyes that seem to perpetually emit an uncomfortable stare. Unlike most nobles of Bloemendaal, he does not wear makeups, instead believing himself to naturally be an awe inspiring visage to behold.
