Description

Beastkin is a very broad category for all kinds of monstrous creatures, all of which share animal like features. Many mistake them for demi-humans, but they are in fact, more animal than human. Magic courses through their blood, granting them the ability to change their shape into whatever beast's bloodline they are a part of. Beastkin live all over the world, are are quite often integrated into society rather well. Some may struggle with fitting in, and may prefer to live only amongst their own kind.

Culture

Beastkin do not have one streamlined culture. Depending on the continent or nation they may reside in or be born in, their customs, religious beliefs and languages will vary drastically from one another.

Lifespan

Beastkin's lifespan largely depends on their bloodline, but a good majority of them live between 60 to 80 years.

Abilities

Physical prowess

All beastkin posses the ability to transform into some sort of animal. Because of this skill, they are also often times a lot more physically powerful than the average human. Depending on their bloodline, other types of physical abilities may come into effect.

Mental prowess

A beastkin's cognition is most often the same, if not better, than the average human's.

Magical prowess

Beastkin are not incapable of magic, but they usually do not have any specific affinity towards a certain type of magic.
