_From the Journal of Hapha Kering_

"My eternity of cold stone ended today. I remember how I begged fate for this day to come for months, but now that is has come I am more bitter than glad. Almost two whole years lost in the cell of these wretched Kobolds.

Atleast this way the physical decay was kept to a minimum; a small consolation when time is so short.

I should be thankful really, that they finally listened to reason and let me out. Now I just have to impress this high priest or chieftain and maybe this can be the end of my imprisonment for good.

My hand is still shaking, holding the quill. I will take a moment to calm my nerves, I can't write them their declaration like this.
