History
Childhood
Edmund Alexander Varny was born on April 22nd, Year 26 of Era Vetus, into a modest family in Demeralia. His childhood was relatively unremarkable, though he developed an interest in boats and ships from a young age.
Early life
at aroung age 16, Varny began working in Demeralia, initially in a low administrative position. Over time, he gained experience in trade and provincial affairs, developing an interest in government and the relationship between the capital and Coronado's provinces.
Life in Aquila
On the 21st of july Year 3 Era Nova, as Coronado began expanding into the northern territories, Varny was chosen to spearhead the colonisation and development of Calvara. Together with multiple ships of men and supplies, he travelled north from Demeralia and oversaw the establishment of the first permanent settlement in the region.
During Coronado's early nation-building period, Varny also became involved in the drafting of the Foundational Articles, helping establish the legal and political framework of the newly organized state.
As Calvara developed from a frontier settlement into an established province, Varny remained closely involved in its administration. He eventually became Calvara's Premier in the Coronadan Council.
Varny is also credited with writing "O Coronado", a patriotic song that has become associated with Coronadan national identity.
