Humans are creatures defined by their will to survive and their ability to prevail despite their unfortunate circumstances. They are a species that has survived countless calamities and wars, diseases and plagues. Like parasites they push forward no matter what, and always come out stronger than their previous ancestors.

Description

Humans originate from the overworld and the main realm of Aquila. They're one of the largest existing native species, and have the capacity to survive in most environments regardless of how harsh they may be. Humanity's defining trait is their ability to adapt to anything, and push through. They are capable of many great things, and possess the talents necessary to cultivate their own magical prowess. Humans alone are not innately powerful, as their strength primarily comes from their sheer numbers. It is believed that human will is the strongest form of power one may possess. No matter how many other supernatural species may exist in this world, humanity will always find a way to continue their fleeting existence and leave a mark somewhere in the world.

Culture

Humanity does not have one streamlined culture. Depending on the continent or nation they may reside in or be born in, their customs, religious beliefs and languages will vary drastically from one another. Despite that, what tends to connect them all is their shared empathy for the other creatures that roam this world.

Lifespan

Humans typically live anywhere between 70 to 100 years. On occasion, some are able to extend their lives with the use of magic, or by leading a very careful and healthy life style, but such instances are very rare.

Abilities

Humans are capable of pretty much everything. They can be warriors, rulers, magicians and much more! All they need in order to succeed in life is their will. And probably money. But who cares about that!
