History

The Norrberg Kingdom is a combination of two villages which were joined by Ragnar Hagen, the current King. The villages were mutually neutral toward each other until Ragnar Hagen returned from his voyage to the Republic of Calaveria and joined them under his rule.

Life

Living in the Norrberg Kingdom requires a lot from its citizens, but also offers a lot. For responsibilities, a Norrbergian adult is expected to be employed, have frequent involvement with research, or be a part of the government. A child is expected to be diligent in their studies and try to learn what they want to do for work later in their life. On the other hand, the kingdom provides a plethora of freedoms such as state-funded healthcare, education, and recreation on the terms that the citizen has been fulfilling their duties.

Norrbergian society is centered around three core principles: functionality, efficiency, and inclusivity.

Functionality

Every building, road, plan, or step in research should have a purpose and should work to achieve its set of goals.

Efficiency

Preservation of resources is important in a land where simply surviving is hard. Less resources used to gain the same amount or more from something is a necessity.

Inclusivity

In a kingdom where research has led its people to thrive, more hands is everything.
