Letters-Journals
As I got more confident to explore my surroundings, I found more of Risa's books. Some were written by her, mainly about what she had learned from the other books, those were made by the Icari before her. There were dozens, some hidden away in her basement, some left at the locations that they were written in honor of, and some were from Queen Semet. From what I read, it seemed like if they were one sided. Dozens of letters checking in on Risa, all tossed into the corner of the room in a messy pile. It didn't take long for me to get my first one, around a week later. I knew it was from Queen Semet before I had even opened it, it just had a special feel to it.
Dear Seras,
It seems to me, unfortunately, that despite the immense cultural and historical wealth of your estate, you might benefit from making the journey to our magnificent city of Kedet. The citizens - and a grand celebratory feast - await you. I look forward to discussing your qualities as an Icari. Furthermore, I have an offer that may interest you. Our cartographers have specially created a map to help you find your way to our gates. I have enclosed a vial of Mistra-Itrw honey with this letter, so that you may enjoy the journey as much as the destination. I asked our beekeepers to put their whole hearts into it. I hope it will delight your palate.
We shall meet again soon.
May the Six guide your steps,
I stared at Risa's oasis infront of me, watching an inhuman figure slink into the darkness, so quickly that it could've been excused as a trick of the light. I made up my mind then and there, I should listen to Queen Semet's advice. I didn't want to end up like Risa.
