Genies are a type of Fey creature. Genies as we all know are magical creatures, residing inside lamps. Old legends speak of how one could become a genie’s master by taking a lamp and uttering magical incantations. From then on, the genie would grant its master three wishes without any loopholes. Though, as far as the world knows, such feats are no longer possible.

Though, as far as the world knows, such feats are no longer possible. Culture Genies once came from ancient lamps, but centuries of enslavement led to an insurrection started with one genie breaking his shackles, starting an armed rebellion of genies against their lamp masters. Genies love music, and many of them can often play multiple different instruments. Performing and creative freedom is very important for them. Their culture, especially architecture, tends to be quite colorful as well. Unfortunately, it has been noted that Genies have a tendency to be rather xenophobic due to their past with slavery.

Lifespan Genies on average live for a little longer than humans, most however do not live longer than 120 years. Abilities Physical prowess Even after losing their deity-like powers, genies remain very powerful. They are extremely fast and agile, being skilled swordsmen, only stopped by their small numbers and slow reproduction, as new genies are slowly formed inside magic lamps that once made them slaves. Genies physically appear very color, most often having blue or red skin colors, with their eyes having the same hue and glow as their skin. Their speed would also surprise you, considering they don’t have any legs, and simply hover slightly above the ground. Genies tend to dress strangely, with having loose or minimal clothing as they do not feel or experience temperature changes and fluctuations the same way a human does. Mental prowess A Genie’s cognition does not differ much from a human’s. Magical prowess Genies have a very strong and particular affinity for magic, considering they are creatures made from magic. Some genies have the ability to briefly see possible outcomes of the future in dreams, not knowing which ones are true or not, which leads to many being deeply spiritual. And while they have over time lost their ability to fly, they can jump incredibly high.
