Wayrest Takes Shape
Construction in Wayrest continues to move forward, with the settlement beginning to grow beyond the Guild's original holdings.
While the Guild remains based in the southern sector of the city, the wider development of Wayrest is beginning to take shape around it. Plans for the city include a growing commercial district, residential neighborhoods, agricultural land, and eventually a harbor connecting Wayrest to the sea.
The northern sector is expected to become home to Wayrest's port, providing space for docks, warehouses, merchants, fishermen, and travelers arriving by sea. Across the western lake, agricultural land will help supply the growing settlement with crops, livestock, and other necessities.
Within the city itself, construction will focus on creating the small details that make Wayrest feel lived in. Shops, homes, workshops, markets, taverns, gardens, public spaces, and the many little signs of everyday life will gradually fill the streets.
Wayrest is still far from finished, but its purpose is becoming clearer.
It is not simply a home for the Guild.
It is becoming a city of its own.
