The Opening of the Joint Northern Railway
Glorious news for the North; a new era has arrived. For eons, vast distances have separated us, making travel a long and dangerous adventure—not to mention a costly one, considering how many we have lost to raiders and corsairs. Today, that will change!
Through the united efforts of the Kingdom of Istrania, the Goldman Company, the Union of Coronado, and the Kapteinskap of Kuriaes, the Northern Railway can now officially open its first route, marking the beginning of a new age for the continent.
The First Journey
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the founding members, who all gathered at Kingsport Central Station to sign the Northern Rail Charter, before taking the first trip to Serrano on the newly laid track. For the first time, a trip that had taken days has been cut down to hours.
The Future of the North Rail
The opening of the main line is only the beginning. Our vision is of a north united by rails, trade, and cooperation between nations, and to reach that, a lot more work is still ahead of us.
We are committed to finishing the first phase:
- Northern Main Line (complete): Connect Kingsport Central Station to Kuriaes and Goldman Station.
- The Coronado Extension (work in progress): Extends the Northern main line past Serrano to connect with the Union of Coronado.
The North stands united.
