Entry 1; The Portal

Today I encountered a storage portal buried deep underground and obscured in a strange stone I had yet to see before... this was the first portal outside the one in Kheta-Kadet I encountered that was lit, it captivated me as I carefully stepped over the magma and the lava, careful not to burn myself as I gazed upwards

There was a reason this one hadn't been found before, it was hidden away from prying eyes, and it was the perfect place for me to begin my tests. I would need to be sure my exams remained hidden, that I covered my tracks, perhaps I would cover this cave from the surface altogether, perhaps that was for the best until I was sure my trials would not be interrupted.

Eventually my setup down in the cavern grew, I developed a found away from the dangerous magma to settle, a bed, some testing equipment, the necessity's if I was to remain down here for prolonged periods

but as I sat and gazed at the purple swirls within the portal, I witnessed a creature of flesh and bone step through, it looked Grotesk, like he land it hailed from melted it whole, its pink skin was cracked and almost zombie like, and yet... unlike how Osiris's book described it, the creature was not hostile... it didn't attack as it gazed at me, and silently turned away to mind its own buisness.

I tried speaking with it, but it didn't seem to understand me, it didn't seem to understand common tongue, weather that was because it was a monster like zombies and skeletons where; or because of some other unknown reason, I'm not quite sure.

This portal will require more examination, but safe down here, I have all the time in the world
