The invitation
The invitation
In the last 4 years, the village of Norkshaws biggest impacter arrived, the small sentient mushrooms and they were there to stay.
Villagers ate said mushrooms and this allowed for them to get through the struggles they were facing at the time, and even allowed them to regain footing.
These mushrooms were eaten to the point where they became recognised as the common dish of the lands.
This has all led up to now where the king has an announcement.
“I, King Daniron, announce that in the next week on the 25th of April that the first mushroom games will begin! Everyone from the village of Norkshaw is invited to travel to the fertile lands and partake in a wide spread search for these mushrooms, those who collect the most shall be rewarded with a special banquet with me.”
The king intends for this to be a celebration of the food that saved them through their harshest times.
