After this commotion, the Kaptein and his men regrouped and explored the surrounding areas.
They found a large red forest with shrooms and red grass next to a sea of molten rock. Certain mushrooms on its outskirts were edible.
When they felled the trees, they discovered that their wood fireproof. This important discovery led to the construction of a small hut over the black gate for shelter.
They also found and slaughtered many wild hogs, which gave them leather and meat similar to pigs.
