For Gods or Magic?
I can say that my nightmares have been getting a bit less extreme ever since I stopped interacting with my little magic orb. Some of my trusted nobles have been informed about my little dilemma and, in their infinite wisdom, have offered me some rather... questionable advice against these magic-induced nightmares:
- Putting rabbit milk on your head before going to sleep.
- Smoking sugar wrapped in leaves.
- Simply praying to the gods.
Now, I am a believer in our culture's great gods, but what can our holy gods do against something so utterly unholy?
I have therefore tasked my nobles with gathering information on other gods — particularly those who may be lesser known and not among those of our primary worship.
My hope is that there may be some god, ANY god, that has some authority over magic in this world. Because even if magic gave me many problems already, I cant deny that I feel intrigued about the different thing these nightmares showed me.
