The preparations to enter the black gate had been made.

They would not only bring their weapons but also gold and gold armor in case not every inhabitant of that foreign land is hostile.

He sent two men, who wore gold, ahead and he ordered them to return within a short time.

They went into the gate and returned terrified after a couple minutes.

The other side of the gate appeared non-hostile.

It was a very large cave consisting of a red rock similar to the rock at Dorurams, covered with an intense heat, fire, lava and a thick fog.

Several Pigmen were roaming the cave but appeared friendly.

At last, Harakhas decided to enter that land himself. Their descriptions were accurate.

They approached a Pigmen who did not look like the others. The others missed flesh and skin while this one appeared healthy. And whats more: The Pigman was scared of the unhealthy Pigmen.

The Kuri//aes men tried to communicate with the lone Pigman but it was very difficult, which meant that we could not learn more about this place or his people.

However, he showed interest in gold, so they handed some to him.

The Pigman was intelligent, since he understood the concept of trade and gave them some curious things in return, like black rocks and bottled water, a much needed commodity in this harsh land.

Among those things was a dried dogsquid.

Just as they wanted to learn where the Pigman acquired the dogsquid, a dogsquid started to approach the Kaptein's group. But it was not docile, it was a wild beast! And it started spewing fire, leaving no option but to shoot it from the air with an arrow.

A seperate group of Kuri//aes men, who wore no gold, approached the scene to help out but they were attacked by the Pigman, who then got himself killed in the ongoing chaos.

It was a rough arrival. However, no one was severely injured...
