Custom banner-designing system bypassing vanilla layer restrictions with paged menus, live previews, and duplication stations.

What LoomLimit Does

LoomLimit replaces the vanilla loom interface with an enhanced custom menu that removes standard limitations and introduces convenient replication tools.

• Configurable Layer Caps: Replaces vanilla's fixed 6-layer limit with a fully customizable maximum pattern layer count.
• Custom Paged Menu: Provides an intuitive custom loom menu featuring an organized grid to browse all available patterns.
• Live Preview System: Displays a real-time preview of your banner design as you add layers before committing.
• Standard Dye Cost: Charges 1 dye per layer just like vanilla, consumed only when collecting the finished banner.
• Banner Duplication: Includes a station to easily duplicate an already completed banner design onto blank banners without redoing layers by hand.

How to Design a Banner

1. Open the Menu: Right-click a Loom block to open the custom crafting interface.
2. Insert Materials: Place a banner in the banner slot and a dye in the dye slot.
3. Select a Pattern: Browse the pattern grid at the bottom and click a pattern to preview it on the banner.
4. Confirm Layer: Click Confirm Layer to lock the pattern into the design shown in the output slot without altering your original item yet.
5. Build Layers: Repeat steps 3 and 4 to keep adding layers up to the server's configured maximum limit.
6. Collect Item: Take the completed banner from the output slot when you are satisfied with the design.

Use the arrows on either side of the pattern grid to page through options, and check the info book in the middle to track how many layers you've used out of the maximum.

Duplicating a Banner

1. Set Master Template: Place your finished, patterned banner in the template slot; it acts as a permanent master copy and is never consumed.
2. Add Blanks: Place a blank banner of the same color in the blank slot next to it.
3. Duplicate: Click the Duplicate Banner button to receive an exact copy, consuming one blank banner per copy.

The template banner remains in its slot continuously, allowing you to produce as many duplicates as you have blank banners to feed it.

Admin Commands

Configuration

Server administrators can tweak these settings inside the plugin configuration file:

Setting	Default	What it controls
max-patterns	16	Maximum number of pattern layers a banner can possess.
gui-title	Custom Loom	The title text shown at the top of the loom menu interface.
patterns-per-page	27	How many patterns are displayed per page in the grid (capped at 27).

After making changes to the configuration, execute /loomlimit reload to apply updates instantly without restarting the server.
