The Chief Artificer's Return
After an extended absence from Clockhaven, Chief Artificer Percival van der Berg has returned to Koperdam, where citizens have welcomed him home.
Upon his arrival, Percival offered a brief word of thanks to those gathered before announcing that he would be returning to his workshop. He was accompanied by several helpers and associates, with whom he intends to conduct further research.
The Chief Artificer has brought back a considerable quantity of an unfamiliar black material collected during his travels. While its exact nature remains unknown, Percival has expressed interest in studying its properties and determining whether it may hold any practical or scientific significance.
Those familiar with his earlier expeditions may recall his documentation of a ruined structure made from similar material. Whether the two discoveries are connected remains to be seen.
For now, the Chief Artificer and his associates have begun their work in the workshop, with further findings expected as their investigation progresses.
