History
The Calaverian Liberty Party was technically founded in year -1. Originally, it begun as the Grand Calaverian Unification Party, an organization founded by Anthony Calabreso and other pro-Calaverian unificationists such as Joseph Werrin and Leonardo Sartiano, to promote and help spread the influence of the Party's goals to unify the independent states currently residing in the land under the Republic of Calaveria. After the successful creation of the ROC in year 1, the party transformed into the Calaverian Libery Party, now that there were no more states to unify.
Politics
Government
The government promoted by the party is a centrist-libertarian system, balancing limited government with individual freedom. The state focuses mainly on essential areas such as defense, justice, infrastructure, social programs, and public services, while allowing citizens significant economic and personal freedom, with some restrictions from the government. Government power is restricted by constitutional limits, with elected officials held accountable by the people.
Reason for Existence
The party's main goal is to unite and free the people of Calaveria by promoting moderate government, strong social programs, and limited market control. It seeks to build a nation where citizens have the freedom to pursue their own lives while ensuring that no one is left behind. The party believes that the government should serve the people, protect their rights, provide opportunity, and maintain stability without unnecessarily interfering in their everyday lives. Through unity, freedom, and responsible governance, the party strives to create a stronger, fairer, and more prosperous Calaveria for generations to come.
