Federal Kingdom of Islanio
History - Founded in Year -46 by King Lorronzo I, the Kingdom of Islanio originated as an island of four self-governing villages torn apart by bitter territorial feuds. Seeking an end to the violence, the village leaders convened a five hour summit and agreed to appoint an impartial outsider as their monarch. To ensure lasting stability, King Lorronzo I established the People's Senate to grant each village equal representation, ushering in an era of peace and prosperity. Following his death in Year -5, his son, Lorronzo II, took charge, and in Year -1, Islanio merged with the Federal Republic of Viscarono to form the Federation of Southern Calaverian States, where it eventually evolved into a constitutional monarchy under the constitutions of all future Calaverian constitutions.
Government - The Kingdom of Islanio currently operates as a Calaverian state with a semi-autonomous constitutional monarchy. Like all states, the kingdom must follow the constitution of the Republic, however, they still choose to appoint a king as their leader, who manages the state economy and almost all state internal and external affairs.

Flag - The flag of the Kingdom of Islanio was created and adopted in Year -40. The 4-pointed star represents the 4 villages that united to form the kingdom, and the blue representing the sea and sky, which Islanian philosophers studied for centuries.
Map & Location - The kingdom is located directly east of Viscarro City on an island in the southern regions of mainland Calaveria.
West Calaverian Commonwealth
History - Before becoming a state within the Federation of Calaveria, the region existed as an independent nation known as the Calaverian Commune, founded in Year -89 by Chairman Ibistine Orion on the principles of libertarian socialism. Over the next several decades, the nation struggled with internal instability as political factions fought over the power of the central government, with major reforms like the Council of Many failing to unite the public. Tensions reached a breaking point in Year -1 when radical violence sparked a short, but large, war with the neighboring Federation. Following the Commune's surrender, the territory was integrated and reorganized into the West Calaverian Commonwealth the same year.
Government - The Commonwealth kept the old Council of Many, as well as the old promises of the old Commune, like light socialism, many personal freedoms, and a light government as the primary focus of the new government. The Council of Many consists of 999 elected citizens to manage the nation's economy, laws, trade, affairs, and domestic/external policies. Every 6 years, the regular citizens and the Council vote on an elected Chairman. Each citizen gets 1 vote, and each Councilman gets technically 1 vote, however, this special vote will count as 40 votes in an election.
Current Serving Leader(s) - The current head of state of the West Calaverian Commonwealth is Chairman Robert Jones.
Flag - The 4 golden stripes and 4 diamond stars, as they are known, represent the unification of the people of West Calaveria and their perseverance as strong as diamond to stay unified as a nation. The flag was proposed by Gabriel Jones, a very popular and liked councilman within the Council of Many (as well as the brother of Robert Jones), very shortly after the Commune became annexed under the Federation as a symbol for the new unified Commonwealth. It was used almost everywhere, but was not officially adopted by the government until Year 5.
Map & Location - The Commonwealth occupies and spans the entire current western region of Calaveria, which is entirely a very thick dark forest.
