Era Nova, Year 2 marked the transition from a world of isolated settlements into one increasingly connected by trade, diplomacy, exploration and conflict.

With the first World Map now circulating between nations, peoples who had previously known one another only through rumour began to establish direct relationships. Diplomatic missions crossed borders, merchants travelled between distant regions, and organisations such as The Guild and the Koperdam Atlas Bureau began to formalise activities that had previously been undertaken by individuals.

The year was also marked by rapid technological and institutional development. Koperdam expanded its industrial ambitions, while other nations strengthened their governments, military organisations and economic networks. Yet greater connection also brought greater tension. Political disputes escalated into violence, personal tragedies reshaped communities, and the first signs of threats beyond the control of individual nations began to emerge.

By the end of the year, Aquila had become a far more interconnected world than it had been at the beginning of Era Nova. New alliances had formed, old boundaries had been challenged, and the actions of individuals increasingly carried consequences far beyond their own homes.

Era Nova, Year 2 represents the beginning of Aquila's interconnected age - a year in which exploration gave way to diplomacy, isolation gave way to contact, and the foundations of the new world began to be tested.
